Northern Nevada Medical
Center is
a 108-bed acute care hospital located on 23 hillside acres in Sparks,
Nevada. The hospital provides physicians and patients with many of
the latest technological innovations for diagnosis and treatment of
even the most acute clinical conditions. Northern Nevada Medical
Center is accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC) and licensed by
the state of Nevada.

Job
Description Provides direct
patient care to infant through geriatric patient
populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general
aspects of care related to the surgical and Pain Center
e! nvironment. Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with
the maintenance of surgical equipment and pain management
inventory. Participates in performance improvement
activities. Assesses operating room / procedure room for
equipment functioning and readiness, obtains supplies for individual
cases and ensures all appropriate needs of surgical operating team
are met. Monitors, positions and assists patient during
procedure.

Requirements

&
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of
Nevada.
At
least one year of OR experience required.
&

Current ACLS. BLS and
PALS certification.
