Registered Nurse, Director of Surgical Services TheRN Director of Surgical Servicesis responsible for leading our caring team of healthcare professionals to ensure that we are providing the highest level of quality care to our patients. You will spearhead daily activities and service delivery within Surgical Services, with a focus on ensuring consistency and high quality patient care with your team. TheDirector of Surgical Serviceswill drive the reputation of the hospital through leadership of staff in the delivery of care while addressing the ever changing changes within the healthcare environment. The Director of Surgical Services has 24hour responsibility for coordination of patient care, supervision of personnel, and administrative activities in the Department of Surgical Services.
Responsible for education, safety, environment, Infection Control, materials and equipment, assistance to surgeons and anesthesiologists, regulatory compliance, and QI. Actively promotes teamwork and collaboration between departments. EDUCATION REQUIRED: BSN or a combination of education and directly related work experience. A master's degree is preferred.
