Office Administrator/Receptionist [Canada]


 

About us:

Lifelong Health is a startup multidisciplinary clinic located in the Highgate area of Burnaby, BC, which provides Chiropractic, RMT, and Speech and Language Services. Please see our website for more information – http://www.lifelonghealthltd.ca.

We are seeking 3 office administrators to join our team, working a shift pattern of either 28 or 29 hours per week. This would include weekends, early mornings, and late evenings.

Key responsibilities:

  • Greeting and checking in clients
  • Answering phone calls and responding to emails from clients and partners
  • Using EMR (Jane App) software for scheduling appointments, managing calendars, preparing invoices, and processing payments
  • Managing staff and client relations with respective parties such as ICBC
  • Maintaining records and databases and handle confidential information in compliance with privacy laws
  • Assisting with marketing and promotional activities
  • Providing general administrative support to the management and staff, including clinic laundry
  • Maintaining general upkeep and tidiness in all areas of the clinic
  • Opening/closing duties
  • Availability to cover holidays and sickness of colleagues if needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with learning new software
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team and act as a coordinator for management of staff and clients
  • Previous experience in an office administration or customer service role is an asset
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in a healthcare setting is a bonus
