Poultry Farm Worker
Daily work will includes
· Inspecting the flock and mortality disposal
· Recording feed, water intakes and daily weight gains
· Maintaining the cleanness of the site
· Some light machine maintenance
· Assisting with the flock arrival and dispatch
· Assisting with the cleaning and preparation of houses between flocks
Farm experience and good animal husbandry skills are essential. Excellent communication skills required.
The job requires a responsible and hard working person with a passion for good animal welfare.
Experience with DIY maintenance is an advantage (but not essential)
Own transport is essential as the farm is located 18km from Monaghan town, 7.5km from Emyvale
The work hours are normally between 8am and 5pm plus some weekend working
Salary: Neg based on experience
Experience: Ideally 1 year on farm (but not essential as training will be given)
