The successful candidate will be responsible for creating primary demand for Precedex® , a proprietary pharmaceutical, used for intravenous sedation and Voluven®, a plasma volume substitute indicated for the treatment and prophylaxis of hypovolemia. This demand will be created through direct detailing to multiple hospital-based clinicians including Anesthesiologists, General Surgeons, Cardio Thor! acic Surgeons, Intensivists, Pulmonologists, Critical Care Nur! ses, and Pharmacists.
In this key role, you will establish business relationships, influence decision makers, monitor and assess the competitive environment, achieve territory sales/business goals, and manage territory expenses.

Skills/Experience Education/Certification
Must possess a BS/BA, preferably in business/marketing, pharmacy, nursing, science, or other technical discipline.
3-5 years successful proprietary pharma sales experience in a hospital environment strongly preferred.
The position requires a highly energetic, persuasive and tenacious professional with the ability to learn and convey scientific and clinical information to client base.
Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communications skills needed. Prior sales or clinical experience in anesthesia or critical care environment required.
