The successful candidate will be responsible for creating primary demand for Precedex® , a proprietary pharmaceutical, used for intravenous sedation and Voluven®, a plasma volume substitute indicated for the treatment and prophylaxis of hypovolemia. This demand will be created through direct detailing to multiple hospital-based clinicians including Anesthesiologists, General Surg! eons, Cardio Thoracic Surgeons, Intensivists, Pulmonologists, ! Critical Care Nurses, and Pharmacists.
In this key role, you will establish business relationships, influence decision makers, monitor and assess the competitive environment, achieve territory sales/business goals, and manage territory expenses.

Skills/Experience Education/Certification
Must possess a BS/BA, preferably in business/marketing, pharmacy, nursing, science, or other technical discipline.
3-5 years successful proprietary pharma sales experience in a hospital environment strongly preferred.
The position requires a highly energetic, persuasive and tenacious professional with the ability to learn and convey scientific and clinical information to client base.
Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communications skills needed. Prior sales or clinical experience in anesthesia or critical care environment required.
